The Bund at Shanghai, China. The photographer is looking along the Bund showing the quays for the various passenger ship services up and down the Yangtze Kiang. In the foreground and seen from off her port bow is the China Navigation Company's Hsin Peking (1914) which is on the Shanghai to Ningpo service. Her bow is out of the picture and three other steamers are berthed astern of her.
