A very distant port bow view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) at anchor in a Norwegian fjord. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged at the main deck aft with a boat alongside it. The Blue Peter flag is at the port yardarm on the foremast. Her motor lifeboat/tender number 3, seen from fine of her starboard bow, is being held alongside a wooden slipway by seamen. Three civilians, possibly passengers, are on the slipway looking towards the Orion and two open rowing boats are alongside on the left. There are patches of snow on the mountains in the distance. Negatives numbers P84441 and P84486 were taken on the same occasion.
