On board the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) anchored off Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Tenerife Island, Canary Islands. The photographer is looking aft and to port from the port side of the deck aft showing lifeboat 20 under her davits and a crewman standing on the port side of the docking bridge. A salvage tug, a few small craft and two steam tugs are at moorings in the harbour. Schooners, cargo ships and passenger vessels are alongside the breakwater. The clock and bell tower of the San Francisco de Asis church is on the right.
