A very distant port bow view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) at anchor in a Norwegian fjord. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged at the main deck aft with a boat alongside it. The Blue Peter flag is at the port yardarm on the foremast. Her motor lifeboat/tender number IV, seen from off her port bow, is alongside a wooden slipway with a few passengers on board. In addition to the boat's crew a man and three children are on the slipway. There are patches of snow on the mountains in the distance. Negatives numbers P84440 and P84486 were taken on the same occasion.
