The Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Ranchi (1925) anchored in the bay at Vigo, Spain.

A slightly distant port broadside view of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Ranchi (1925) at anchor in the bay at Vigo, Spain. She has her midships accommodation ladder in use. A 3-masted schooner is berthed alongside the harbour wall. The photographer is on a shore excursion and is looking north down the hill of the Rua Carroll showing a liquor store and the Bar Sin Nombre on the east side of the road with the Universal Hotel next to it. At the foot of the hill is a stone plinth surmounted by a bronze statue of Jose of Elduayen sculpted by Agustin Querol y Subirats in 1896.
