A slightly distant starboard bow view of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathnaver (1931) anchored and moored in the Saltsjon at Stockholm, Sweden. She has both anchors deployed and is moored to a buoy astern. She has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships and a large lighter is alongside just abaft the ladder. Lifeboat number 17 has been launched. The steam powered harbour passenger launch Tekla (fl. 1937) is under way on the left of the picture. Shipping is alongside the Stadsgarden wharves and the Karina and Sofia districts are in the background.
