A port bow view of the spritsail barge Dawn (1897) under full sail in the Thames Estuary during a Medway Barge Match. Her bowsprit is raised. Her staysail is white and all other sails are red. Her bob at the masthead has not been recognized. The spritsail barge Mirosa (1892) is on the left of the picture and the steel hulled spritsail barge Reminder (1929) is in the right background. The Mirosa has a Whitbread logo on her topsail.
