A port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the spritsail barge Gladys (1901) under sail in the river Orwell during the Pin Mill Barge Match. Her staysail and jib are white and all the other sails are red. Her crew are all wearing white T-shirts. She has a large smiley sun logo representing Sunblest bread on her topsail. Her bob at the masthead has not been recognized. A vertical format negative.
