A port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the spritsail barge Northdown (1924) motoring and under sail in the Thames Estuary heading for the River Medway. She is under power with only her topsail set and her bowsprit is topped. All other sails are furled and stowed. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers PCT14120 to PCT14122 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
