The spritsail barge yacht Violet (1889) and the motor housebarge Westall (1913) alongside a jetty at Hoo Marina, Kent.

The spritsail barge yacht Violet (1889) and the motor housebarge Westall (1913) alongside a jetty at Hoo Marina, Kent. The photographer is in a slightly elevated vantage point on shore looking over a fence and grassed area at the jetty. The Violet is seen from ahead of her port beam and is fully rigged with her sails furled. The Westall is at the end of the jetty and is seen from well ahead of her port beam. She has a white superstructure with a modern looking wheelhouse above the accommodation. An unidentified, fully rigged, spritsail barge is berthed across the end of the jetty. Hoo Salt Marsh is in the background with Gillingham beyond it.
