A close view of the stern of the spritsail barge Ethel Maud (1889) in Hoo Marina, Hoo, Kent. The tide is out and she is sitting on a mud berth. The photographer is looking down and to starboard from close abaft the port quarter showing a man in a multi-coloured shirt standing on a wooden pontoon working on the transom. There are paint pots on the pontoon and a ladder is resting against the rudder post. Negatives numbers PM2540/68CN, PM2541/2CN and PM2542/4CN were taken on the same occasion.
