Thunderbolt (1938)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows a starboard inboard profile (port inboard profile looking to starboard) of the T-class submarine Thunderbolt (1938). A stamp from the Cammel Laird Drawing Office, dated 25 April 1941 is present in the top left corner of the drawing. A second stamp with the signature of the Principal Ship Overseer at Cammel Laird "S. H. Bugden", dated 21 May 1941, is also present on the left hand side of the plan. This plan is the second of two sheets of generl arrangment drawings of the vessel. Thunderbolt was originally named Thetis. The vessel sank during its sea trials in 1938 and was salvaged and renamed Thunderbolt.
