The ship is berthed alongside the Alcantara Quay and part of her starboard bow, seen from abaft the beam, is in the picture. She is dressed overall and her starboard anchor is deployed. A motor tug is berthed ahead of the Canberra. The photographer is on board the launch showing one of the women sat on the cabin roof and the other two persons are standing behind her.
