She is berthed port side to the quay and everything forward of number 4 hatch is out of the picture. The photographer is on the opposite side of the dock looking across the bow of a Liverpool Lighterage Company motor coaster which is alongside the quay. The Strathdare (1974) arrived from the Tyne on 10 October and sailed on her maiden voyage on 1 November 1974. Transparencies numbers P63032CT to P63155CT were taken on the same occasion.
