A port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Cutty Sark (1869) in dry dock at Greenwich, London. The tip of her bowsprit and the tops of her fore and main masts are out of the picture. Scaffolding is around her stem and the upper part of her bow has been freshly painted. Her Nannie figurehead is not in place. Work is proceeding on the courtyard surrounding the dock.
