A general view of merchant and naval shipping in Falmouth Docks, Cornwall. In dry dock in the foreground is the funnel and superstructure of the steam tanker Garonne (1959) and in the dry docks beyond her are a Federal Line cargo liner and a BP tanker. On the right is the bow of the tanker British Duchess (1958). Alongside a jetty in the background is a Royal Navy fleet replenishment ship, either the Regent (1966) or the Resource (1966), and in the distance is a Royal Fleet Auxiliary large tanker of the 'Ol' class. Transparencies numbers PCT19761 to PCT19768 were taken on the same day.
