Wye (purchased 1855)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the hold of the steam screw water tank distilling ship Wye (purchased 1855) to be fitted as a store ship at Chatham Dockyard. The plan has been signed by Oliver W. Lang [Master Shipwright at Chatham Dockyard 1858-1864]. This vessel was originally known as Hecla, before being purchased by the Admiralty and renamed Wye.
