The ship is loading at numbers 4 and 8 holds and is flying the Blue Ensign. The Irfon arrived in port at Vitoria on 6 July and berthed on the main terminal. She sailed fully loaded on 7 July 1974. The Greek bulk carrier Kyriakoula D. Lemos (1966) is alongside the south side of the finger pier in the foreground. On the north side of the finger pier the forepart of the bulk carrier Danita (1967) can be seen. The photographer is looking towards a low sun and the ship images are almost silhouette.
