A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Argentine Navy destroyer San Juan (1937) under way arriving at Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has the pendant number E.9 on her hull. Her stern and the tip of her stem are out of the picture. The photographer is an apprentice serving on board the Bank Line cargo vessel Inverbank (1924) which was in port at the time.
