Captain Glynn Griffiths standing by two miniature brass cannons displayed on a tabletop on the starboard side of the bridge on board the 3-masted topsail schooner Sir Winston Churchill (1966) in Portsmouth Harbour. The two cannons were presented by the Signals Research & Development Establishment, Christchurch, on May 27th 1967. Behind the table is a panel holding the switches for the ship's deck and navigation lights. The captain is wearing a civilian suit and tie. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard. The 'H' top boiler flue is projecting through the deckhouse top. Negatives numbers P50113 to P50120 were taken on the same day.
