Proposed 18ft life boat gig for the vessel Elfin (1895)

Scale 1:12. A blue print copy of a plan, showing the sheer lines, longitudinal half breadth and body plan for a proposed 18ft life boat gig for the vessel Elfin (1895). A Portsmouth Dockyard Chief Constructor's stamp, dated 16 April 1895, is printed on the drawing. The stamp also bears the signature of L. G. Davies [Chief Constructor of Portsmouth Dockyard 1892-1895]. The title of the plan is "Elfin Sketch of 18ft gig prepared in accordance with C of N 18/3/95, N.S. 1140/2866". The words "18ft gig for Elfin in 1895S37" are written on the reverse of the drawing. The plan has two tears on the left hand side.
