A very distant starboard quarter view of the Polish training ship Dar Pomorza (1909) and the West German training barque Gorch Fock (1958) under sail in the Solent off Cowes. The Dar Pomorza is to port of the Gorch Fock. A Royal Navy Type 12 frigate is at anchor on the left while acting as guardship and a Royal Navy Aberdovey class fleet tender is on the right. A large number of yachts and other leisure craft are in the picture.
