On board the Royal Navy armoured cruiser Black Prince (1904) while under construction on the stocks in the shipyard of Thames Iron Works Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. Ltd., at Blackwall, London. The photographer is looking forward on the starboard side of the upper deck from about frame 189 showing two shipwrights working on the barbette of the aft 9.2 inch gun mounting. The steelwork of the aft shelter deck has been erected. A note on the negative says that the photographer is using Camera B.
