A close view of the starboard side of the hull of the Royal Navy armoured cruiser Black Prince (1904) on launch day in the shipyard of Thames Iron Works Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. Ltd., at Blackwall, London. The photographer is looking aft from close alongside the poppet showing shipwrights knocking out the after dog shore. The cover for the submerged torpedo tube at Frame 37 is at the top of the photograph. A cloud of steam is obscuring much of the hull. A note on the negative says that the photographer is using Camera C. A vertical format negative.
