Unnamed 38ft troop boat for the troop ship Vulcan (1849)

Scale 1:24. Plan shows the sheer lines, longitudinal half breadth and body plan for a Unnamed 38ft troop boat for the troop ship Vulcan (1849). The title of the drawing is "Admiralty Drawing of a 38 feet troop ship for the "Vulcan" to be built on the Somerset House scantling and similar to the paddle box boats of the buzzard, the fore and after most thwarts of the fixtures, the intermediate to be fitted to unship from the stowage of the pinnace as shown in red ink". The words "Vulcan 1850 Paddle Box Boats" are written on the reverse on the plan. The words "Vulcan-Paddle Box Boats for troops" are also written on the reverse. The words "Copy to Woolwich 26 October 1850" are written on the plan.
