A starboard bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Royal Navy battleship Cornwallis (1901) entering the water on launching at the Thames Iron Works shipyard at Blackwall, London. The photographer is on the viewing platform to the left of the starboard sliding way as the hull enters the water and the drag chain ropes start to take the strain. There is slight image movement.
