A slightly distant starboard near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the Boulogne registered, ketch rigged fishing vessel B.2138 (Fl. 1897) under sail in The Downs off Walmer. She has all of her sails set and is on the starboard tack. Her port registry B.2138 is on her mainsail and the hull. A sailing ship is stern-on in the left background. The horizon is not quite level.
