A port quarter view, taken from fine off the stern, of the split hopper barge Magellano 1800 (1979) pulling away from the suction dredger Marco Polo (1979) at Singapore. The photographer is possibly standing on the starboard side looking forward and to starboard. The forward lifeboat davit is in the foreground on the right hand side of the image. A crewman is standing on the port side of the superstructure of Magellano 1800. Two more crewmen are at the bow of Magellano 1800. The Blue Star Line general cargo container ship Australia Star (1978) or New Zealand Star (1978) is at anchor in the middle ground off the starboard side of Magellano 1800. An unidentified cargo ship is in the background. This is Slide 2 of a lecture given by Captain Henry P.
