A starboard bow view of the Deal lugger Friend To All Nations (Fl. 1902) getting up her anchor off Deal beach, Kent. She has a crew of four and her mizzen lugsail has been hoisted. Her dinghy is alongside the starboard quarter. Her bowsprit and the top of her mainmast are out of the picture. A note on the vertical format negative says the photographer is using Camera A. Negatives numbers N19591 to N19595 were taken on the same occasion.
