Looking down the Canal de la Peyrade from a bedroom window of the Grand Hotel in Sete, France. The photographer is at the bedroom window looking east. A number of small craft are berthed along both sides of the canal. Parked cars and buildings line both sides of the canal. The Pont de Pierre crosses the canal is in the middle distance and a white-painted ship is alongside the Quai du Mas Coulet. This is Slide 19 of a lecture titled "World Wide Ship Delivery" given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Chief Officer on board the motor coaster Sea Avon (1977) owned by Freight Express Seacon Ltd of London from 11 July 1977 to 9 September 1977. The lecture consists of 22 slides.
