A starboard near broadside view, taken from just forward of the beam, of the motor general cargo ship Ville de Sete (1971) at anchor off Sete, France. The port anchor is lowered into the water, whilst the starboard anchor is housed. The name of the ship is painted on the starboard side of the bow. The funnel is black with a red band. This is Slide 22 of a lecture titled "World Wide Ship Delivery" given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Chief Officer on board the motor coaster Sea Avon (1977) owned by Freight Express Seacon Ltd of London from 11 July 1977 to 9 September 1977. The lecture consists of 22 slides.
