Scale 1:192. Plan shows the sketch of sails for the Nelson class armoured cruisers Nelson (1876) and Northampton (1876). The plan bears the signature of G. H. Stainer [Constructor at Chatham Dockyard 1878-1883] dated 26 April 1878, R. P. Saunders [Chief Constructor of Chatham Yard 1872-1883], dated 8 May 1878 and W. B. Robinson [Master Shipwright & Engineer at Portsmouth dockyard 1869-1874, when the job title changed to Chief Constructor, as which he served between 1875-1881] dated 4 July 1878.
