A port quarter view, taken from very fine off the stern, of the lighthouse and buoy tender Relume I (1952) berthed in Bahrain. The photographer is standing on the quayside aft of the stern of the vessel. The Middle East Navigation Aids Service blue ensign is flying from the ensign staff. The vessel is dressed with funerary decorations. This image was taken just before the vessel motored to the breakers yard. This is Slide 28 of a lecture titled "World Wide Ship Delivery" given by Captain Henry P. Bird detailing his service as Chief Officer for the delivery of the lighthouse and buoy tender Relume (1979) owned by Middle East Navigation Aids Service from 3 May 1979 to 18 June 1979 and then Chief Officer for the delivery of the lighthouse and buoy tender Relume I (1952) owned by the same company to the ship breakers yard from 18 June 1979 to 30 June 1979. The lecture consists of 30 slides.
