A view of the control panel in the engine room of the bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964). The engine room telegraph repeater is in the centre of the image. A partial view of a panel of dials is at the top and top left hand side. Two levers are situated below the engine room telegraph repeater. A wooden first aid box is fastened to the underside of the control panel. This is Slide 18 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the motor bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) owned by Sir William Reardon Smith & Sons Ltd of Cardiff, from 17 May 1970 to 26 November 1970. This series consists of 83 slides.
