Numerous cranes and piles of scrap metal are in the background. The number "DB20" are painted in white on the bow of one of the lighter barges. This is Slide 74 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Second Officer on board the motor bulk carrier Wilkawa (1964) owned by Sir William Reardon Smith & Sons Ltd of Cardiff, from 17 May 1970 to 26 November 1970. This series consists of 83 slides.
