A port bow view of the Leander class frigate Sirius (1966) moored in Dockyard Creek, Malta taken from the cable ship John W. Mackay (1922). The photographer is looking south east towards Dockyard Creek. A partial view of an unidentified craft is in the foreground on the left side of the image. Sirius is in the middle ground moored off Fort Angelo. One of the Tiger class cruisers Blake (1945) or Tiger (1945) is moored in the background further up Dockyard Creek. St Lawrence's church is also in the background. This is Slide 28 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Watchkeeping Officer for the cable ship John W. Mackay (1922) owned by Commercial Cable Company of London from 16 December 1974 to 21 March 1975. This series consists of 45 slides.

The Hospital is now the head office for the heritage organisation Heritage Malta.
