The middle 4 story building bears the name 'Curacao Trading Company'. The building situated to the right of the Curacao Trading Company has a sign with the 'Continental Tyres'. 8 cars parked on the quayside in front of the buildings. A separate canal is on the left hand side of the image heading eastwards. Numerous small craft and fishing vessels are moored on either side of this canal. There is a partial view of the Queen Wilhemina Bridge in the middle ground. A partial view of the Inner Market is the background on the left side of the image. This is Slide 5 of a series of slides detailing Captain H. Bird's service as Watchkeeping Officer for the cable ship John W. Mackay (1922) owned by Commercial Cable Company of London from 31 July 1975 to 28 October 1975. This series consists of 17 slides.
