Looking north-by-east up Dockyard Creek, Malta, from the upper verandah of the residence of the Chief Constructor in Dockyard Terrace, Senglea. The Naval Victualling Yard in Vittoriosa is on the right and Fort St Angelo is on the left. Moored in front of Fort St Angelo and seen from wide off her port quarter is the base ship Egmont (1863).
