Dockyard Creek, Vittoriosa and the naval storehouses, Malta

Looking across Dockyard Creek, Malta, from the upper verandah of the residence of the Chief Constructor in Dockyard Terrace, Senglea. Almost out of view on the left is the public ferry landing. The naval storehouses and boat sheds, including the Reserve Boat Shed and the Fleet Boat Shed, are at the water's edge and stores lighters are at moorings. The lighters have the War Department arrow, the letters C.A.Y.C. and an identifying number on them. Berry's notebook says the photograph was taken at 18.15.
