No. 4 mast on a lighter in Rinella Bay, Kalkara, Malta
Looking south-west to Bighi across the head of Rinella Bay, Kalkara, Malta, from Ricasoli. Moored to the shore are some C.A.Y.C. lighters with No. 4 lower mast on them. A wooden track is being put into position to enable the mast to be pulled ashore from the lighters. A gap has been knocked in the boundary wall to get the mast into the grounds of Fort Ricasoli. The photograph was taken at about noon.
