Looking across Dockyard Creek, Malta, to Vittoriosa from the terrace of the residence of the Chief Constructor in Dockyard Terrace, Senglea. The Naval Bakery is in the left background. The church of San Lorenzo, the public ferry landing with a steamer alongside, and the Dock Yard Arms, formerly the Army & Navy Bar, are on the right. the Reserve Boat Shed is on the extreme right. The Admiral Superintendent's barge, seen from off her port beam, is under way heading down the creek while the Commander-in-Chief's pinnace, seen from off her starboard beam, is heading up the creek. Berry's notebook gives the time as 13.30. Very slightly unsharp.
