The Zabbar Gate and the Cotonera Lines, Cospicua, Malta
Looking west-by-south along the outside of the Cotonera Lines wall to the Zabbar Gate south-east of Cospicua, Malta. The main road from Zabbar to the Three Cities passes through this gate which has also been known as the Notre Dame Gate, Cotoner Gate and Bieb is-Sinjur. Berry's notebook says the photograph was taken at 11.15 on a very sunny day. Very slightly unsharp.
