A corner of the drawing room of the Chief Constructor's house in Dockyard Terrace, Senglea, Malta. On the left of the picture is the end of the fireplace with a wooden coal scuttle and a potted plant by the side of it. A flat topped writing desk and a stool are facing the corner. The walls have ornately painted friezes with individual country scenes painted in each corner.
