The photographer is standing on the deck of the spritsail barge Reminder (1929) looking down at the liberty boat. One crewman is sitting at the outboard on the stern with another crewman sitting at the bow. This is Slide 19 of a series when Henry P. Bird undertook a cruise on the spritsail barge Reminder (1929). According to the mount, this photograph was taken in August 1983.
