The photographer is standing on the port side of the deck of the spritsail barge Reminder (1929) just forward of the helm looking south west off the port side. A partial view of the Harwich Navyard is off the starboard side of St Nicholas on the left. A Mermaid class Trinity House lighthouse service vessel is berthed at Trinity House Pier abaft of St. Nicholas. This is Slide 22 of a series when Henry P. Bird undertook a cruise on the spritsail barge Reminder (1929). According to the mount, this photograph was taken circa August 1983.
