The Royal Naval Exhibition at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, London in 1891
The Royal Naval Exhibition at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, ran from 2 May to 24 October 1891. This is inside the main entrance area with the Franklin Gallery to the left and the Seppings Gallery, lined with half-block models, to the right. The entry kiosk in the centre displays daily, weekly and total visitor numbers. The entry fee was one shilling. A large Smoking Strictly Prohibited sign is hanging from the rafters. A copy negative produced by the NMM Studio of a mounted photographic print contained in Photograph Album No. ALB1386. This is the same image as P47507A taken with slightly different camera settings.
