A view of the waterfont and quayside of Maldon, Essex with various moored vessels. Two spritsail barges, a tug, a crane lighter and numerous small craft are moored at the quayside. The sail training ketch Kenya Jacaranga (1923) is up the stocks on the quayside on the left. The top of the the spire of the St Mary the Virgin Church is in the background in the middle. This is Slide 40 of a series when Henry P. Bird undertook a cruise on the spritsail barge Reminder (1929). According to the mount, this photograph was taken circa August 1984.
