A close-up of the port side of the hull of the tug Conqueress (1913) in dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard showing damage, including a hole, caused to her port bow when she was in collision with the destroyer Sabre (1918) on 21 Jul. 1936. The photograph is taken from the side of the dock just ahead of the beam looking aft and to starboard. The Conqueress (1913) was holed below the waterline and had to be beached before being drydocked for repairs.
