A starboard side view, looking forward from the quayside abreast the stern, of the special service vessel Cape Sable (1936) berthed in Portsmouth Dockyard. Her bow and everything aft of the mainmast is out of the picture. She has commenced conversion to a Q ship and is riding high in the water.
