The bomb damaged escort sloop Foxglove (1915) in No. 9 Dry Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire

The devastated boat deck of the escort sloop Foxglove (1915) looking to starboard from the top of the dock abreast station 95. The Foxglove (1915) is in No. 9 Dry Dock in Portsmouth Dockyard with severe damage amidships from a bomb hit off the Nab on 9 Jul. 1940. Her aft boats have been reduced to matchwood and the deck has been destroyed.
